// 02 WEBSITE VISITS

Data collected when you visit

Server logs

The website is hosted by node49. In common with all web servers, it records technical details of each request, including the IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type. These records are used to operate and secure the site and to produce aggregate visitor counts.

Visit statistics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which reports the page address, referring page, browser type and page-load performance. Cloudflare derives the visitor's country from the IP address and does not retain the address. The service uses no cookies or device fingerprinting and does not track visitors across websites.

The bureau receives aggregate figures only.

Cookies & storage

This site sets no cookies and stores no information on your device. Typefaces are served from this site; no third-party font service is used.

Lawful basis. Legitimate interests: the operation and security of the website, and an understanding of the volume and geographic origin of its visitors. The data involved is minimal and is not used to profile individuals.

Opting out. Visitors who prefer not to be counted may block static.cloudflareinsights.com in their browser or content blocker. The site functions fully without it.

International transfers. Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States and is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which is recognised in UK law as providing an adequate level of protection.
